UK’s The Independent has published an article looking at the increasing importance of Corporate Social Responsibility for companies, particularly in these financially troubled times. According to the article, the current financial crisis “makes being a responsible business “more important than ever”".
Ban Ki-moon Secretary General of the United Nations says that “global co-operation and partnership on a scale never before seen” is required.
It also discusses Bill Gates’ idea of “creative capitalism” as “a way to make the aspects of capitalism that serve wealthier people, serve poorer people as well.”
